Dipped Bowls, pair

A pair of thin-thrown bowls, each dipped three times in white glaze so the overlapping bands show on the outside. The glaze is a soft off-white flecked with dark speckles, and the rims break to a thin brown line where the glaze thins at the edge. Faint throwing lines run around the walls.

The shape is simple and rounded, deep enough for soup, rice, cereal or a salad, and the two nest together when stacked. Set them out for a meal for two, or keep them close for everyday use.
